How to transfer tokens?

After purchasing tokens and verifying your profile, you are able to transfer them to a private Ethereum wallet.

To begin, connect your wallet to the Headway NOVA app through a web3 signature. Ensure that your wallet is compatible with ERC20 tokens.

Wallet Connection

1. Navigate to the 'Portfolio' section and scroll to 'Token Management,' then tap 'Add Wallet'. You will be presented with a list of compatible wallets to connect to the app, which includes popular options such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Uniswap, imToken, 1inch, among others.
   
    
   
2. After selecting a wallet, you will be redirected to the wallet app to continue with the connection process. This will occur in two steps: you will need to 'Connect' and then 'Sign' to confirm the connection. A web3 signature is required for security purposes to verify that the wallet belongs to you.
   
    
   
3. Once the wallet is successfully connected to the app, it will appear in the 'My Wallets' section. Here, you can 'Change' the wallet's name or 'Copy wallet address' directly from the Settings. If you wish to disconnect the wallet from the app, tap 'Delete wallet'. You have the option to connect multiple wallets if desired.
   
   

Here are the steps to transfer your NOVA tokens to your connected wallet for safekeeping:

1. Navigate to your Portfolio. Within the portfolio, select "My Tokens." Then, in the upper right corner of your chosen token, tap the "Setting" icon and select 'Transfer token' from the menu.
   
   
2. You're now on the "Transfer Token" page. Here, essential details are visible, including:
   - The quantity of this particular token that you currently own;
   - A clickable link to the token's address labelled "Ethereum ERC20 token";
   - The source from which you're transferring (NOVA Storage) and the destination listing your pre-connected wallets.
   
   
   
3. From the list, tap to select your desired Wallet as the destination for the transfer.
4. Input the number of tokens you wish to transfer into the "Amount" field. Directly below, an indicator shows the residual token count in NOVA Storage, signifying how many you have left to transfer.
5. Proceed by tapping "Transfer". Upon doing so, your blockchain transaction will switch to a pending status. The transaction’s processing speed through the blockchain is contingent on the network's current gas fee rate. You can monitor the live status of your blockchain transactions within the "Token Management" section of your Portfolio, where statuses are marked as 'Pending' or 'Successful.' If successful, the associated transaction can be verified via etherscan.io using the provided transaction link.
   

After a successful token transfer, you will still have visibility over your tokens within the app while your wallet remains connected. To check the storage location of your tokens, go to "My Tokens” details and look for the "Token Storage address" block. This addresses reflect the current storage location of your tokens, which changes to your wallet address post-transfer.

Remember that if you remove your wallet from the app, your transferred tokens will no longer appear in your Portfolio. Also, while disconnected, any tokens within the wallet will not display dividends. To resume receiving dividends, simply reconnect your wallet to the app.
